Mariposas Foundation

Formed by both doctors and parents in 1981, The Mariposas Foundation is a nonprofit organization that focuses mainly on children with Leukemia and other blood related disorders.  We work together with the parents, patients, nurses and doctors to create a "normal" kid environment.  This is done by hosting an annual Summer Picnic, Christmas Party, as well as other events.  During these events, the patients can run around and play like normal kids.

These events also help parents bond with others whom have undergone similar experiences.  Parents talk to parents and patients whom have overcome this enormous obstacle, while enjoying free food and entertainment donated by local businesses and private donations

With the help of many volunteers, we have left a legacy of over 25 years in serving the community.

The 2011 Debi's Ride For Children (Directly benefiting the Mariposas Foundation) is coming!

Saturday, September 17th from 9am - 2pm

DEBI'S RIDE is a yearly event put on by The Star Touring & Riding Inland Empire Chapter 109.
Once a year they host a Poker Run in memory of passed chapter members. ALL PROCEEDS raised from the event go directly to the MARIPOSAS FOUNDATION! The Star Touring Group is a very generous sponsor of our foundation and they are one of our biggest supporters! Please tell anyone you might know who would be interested in this event to come out and support the Star Riders and our foundation!
